Responsible for furnishing, creating a comfortable and functional atmosphere to welcome visiting filmmakers and members of the press, as well as to provide a suitable atmosphere where many departments of the festival could conduct their production roles. In 1998, along with my production crew, I transformed a completely raw space into comfortable reception, office and press interview room. In 1999, with two small theaters to transform, I established the "Viewer" installation project. Ten local artists' sculptural interpretations of viewing held seats throughout the festival.

Developed teams of up to 200 volunteers through recruitment and community outreach. Conducted meetings and interviews and assigned duties to all aspects of the festival production. Collaborated on program distribution, special events, hospitality, merchandising, programming and marketing. Coordinated and updated a scheduling system throughout the festival. Developed and installed programs, including an event to reward longtime volunteers and involve intergenerational community. Produced cast and crew closing parties.

I also worked in sponsorship development in recruiting local and national business support for the SFIFF in 1992.
