The mission of SCREEN 360 is to:


Promote
tolerance, understanding and gentle
curiosity through making the
worldÕs languages, cultures and stories
accessible to children and youth
through international cinema;

 
Encourage
greater American participation in
international film festivals for children
with work that embodies a
childÕs view, art and communication.

 
Awaken
American awareness of the value and
availability of international cinema
for children through broad exhibition;

 
Challenge
the aesthetic of the film genre
and inspire creation of adept
American work in the genre;

 
Enable
young people to meet their international peers
through cinema as well as providing
subjects for conversation for when they meet in person.
